Thai Butterfly Tea (Ocean Blue)

Butterfly pea flower tea, also known as blue tea, is an herbal tea, sometimes known as a tisane, beverage created from an infusion of the flower petals or even the full flower of the Clitoria ternatea plant. Butterfly pea flower is also caffeine free. The blossoms of the butterfly pea are either white, blue, or purple. The brilliant blue pigment that is present in the petals of some species of butterfly peas is preserved in the tea, along with many of the therapeutic properties that are associated with the butterfly pea.
