💰 Fees and Reschedule Policy Remote Oath or Affirmation Only: Fee: $15.00 per person per session This fee covers the remote identity verification, secure audio/video recording, and electronic journal entry required by North Carolina REN law. No document is signed or stamped. The video record serves as the official proof of the oath or affirmation. Other Remote Notarial Acts Fee: $25.00 per notarial act (per principal, per document)-“Per principal” means per signer — if two people sign, it’s two acts ($25 each). Includes acknowledgments, jurats (oaths/affirmations with signatures), and other standard remote notarizations. Reschedules and Early Termination Clients must be prepared at the scheduled time, with a clear understanding of the session type and next steps. Any deviation from the notarization itself — such as discussing document content, asking legal questions, or requesting form changes — will result in immediate session termination. If a session ends for these reasons, or if the signer is unprepared, a new session and full fee will apply when rescheduled. Refunds Once a session has started, fees are non-refundable. Refunds are only issued if a technical issue prevents the session from taking place and the client chooses not to reschedule.
